2025 JUBILEE CLUSTER 18-21 April 2024<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Montgomery Kennel Club is pleased to announce the 2025 Jubilee Cluster, the annual AKC licensed dog show hosted by the Montgomery Kennel Club and the Cahaba Valley Kennel Club. The 2025 Jubilee Cluster will be at the Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery April 18th-19th . <\/strong>The Montgomery Kennel Club will be hosting dog shows Friday and Saturday, and the Cahaba Valley Kennel Club will be hosting dog shows Thursday and Sunday. There are additional daily events planned for this ALL NEW SPRING JUBILEE CLUSTER<\/strong> such as testing, clinics, and more.   Hundreds of dogs will be here from all over the country to compete for Best of Breed, Best in Group, and Best in Show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jubilee Cluster is held in partnership with the Cahaba Valley Kennel Club of Birmingham, AL<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 Jubilee Cluster will be FOUR DAYS of judging from several rings of dogs competing against each other in the same breed and the same group type (Working, Toy, Sport, Herding, Non-Sport, Hound, and Terrier) and also for Best in Show.  Dogs and their handlers will be coming here to Montgomery from all over the country to compete in this prestigious event, and it is expected to attract upwards to 4,000 entries \u2013 a significant impact to the River Region by the canine community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dog shows like the Jubilee Cluste<\/strong>r celebrate the companionship of dogs, promote responsible dog ownership, and help all dogs through the promotion of good breed health and breed preservation. While the dog show is, at its heart, a competition, it is also an opportunity for the public to engage with a vast array of breeds, owners and handlers.  There is no finer way to appreciate the various levels of dog training and to enjoy the beauty of a sound, healthy, well bred animal\u2026 truly, the best of their breed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FastCATs with Speed Dog Coursing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is FastCAT?  It is essentially the 100 \u2013 yard dash for dogs where dogs are tested on their ability to complete a 100 yard timed run in a safe, controlled atmosphere.  AKC registered dogs earn points for each run determined by their speed and their size.  Dogs may also participate in $5.00 fun runs. The FastCAT events will be hosted by the Montgomery Kennel Club in partnership with Speed Dog Coursing<\/a><\/strong>. The premium will be available as soon as the event is AKC approved. a<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no charge to attend the dog shows, but $5.00 is charged by the Garrett Coliseum for parking (per vehicle, not per person.) Entry fees for the 2024 Jubilee Cluster will be posted in the premium. Fees do include a $0.50 AKC recording fee and $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coming from North or South, exit I-65 to the Northern Boulevard (Exit 173). Follow Northern Boulevard until you reach Coliseum Boulevard (approximately 4.5 miles. Turn right and proceed to the second stoplight. Turn right on Federal Drive and the Coliseum will be a block ahead on the right across the street from the WalMart Marketplace Plaza. The Garrett Coliseum address is 1555 Federal Drive, Montgomery, AL 36107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From I-85<\/strong>:
Coming from North or South, take Exit 6, and turn north on Hwy 231 North which is the Eastern Boulevard. Follow Eastern Boulevard until you reach Coliseum Boulevard (approximately 6 miles).
